Plan to spend at least three days
in Munnar. Head for the Eravikulam National Park on the first
day. In the after noon, visit the tea museum and the tea factory
attached to it.
On the second morning drive to Top Station for a picturesque
view of the plains of Tamilnadu, and fit in a breath taking
cruise at either Madupetty dam or Sethuparvathipuram Dam en
route; Spend the evening shopping for tea, spices and locally
made handicrafts.
On the third day you can either drive down to the state owned
sandal plantation at Marayoor or Jeep up the dezzying hides
of Kolukkumallay, the highest tea garden in the country at 7,900
feet above the sea level.
